Presented and produced by Barry Hennessy and Seán Delaney In this programme Barry spoke to education spokespersons from three of the main political parties: Fergus O'Dowd of Fine Gael, Paul Gogarty of the Green Party and Ruairí Quinn of the Labour Party. They were all attending the special delegate conference organised by the Irish National Teachers' Organisation. Spokespersons from Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin were invited to be on the programme but to no avail.

He was in Ireland as a guest of the Irish Primary Principals' Network (IPPN) for their annual conference. The President of the Network, Mr. Pat Goff, also described the main priorities for primary school principals at this time.

The Cluas centre uses a specific therapy, the Tomatis method, to support children with developmental delays, especially delays in speech and language. Barry interviewed Conor Ryan about the proposed abolition of the General Teaching Council in England and about academy schools in the United Kingdom.
